Rev. Ivery De La Curz
Prayer Chaplain and Spiritual Mentor
Reverend Ivery L. De La Cruz, an ordained Unity Minister grew up in Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University in Denton, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as an RN in Fort Worth, TX while attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After receiving a Master of Divinity she completed a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education in Houston, TX.
She was a chaplain in U.S. Army, travelling the world providing ministry and pastoral care. She and her husband, Roel, retired to the Rio Grande Valley in 2010 after 25 years of military service. Their two grown daughters live in Delaware and Georgia.
While serving a successful career in the Army and training as a Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor, Rev. Ivery found her spiritual home and calling in metaphysics and was ordained as a Unity Minister in 2007 while on active duty.
Reverend Ivery’s greatest joy is empowering each person to live the Christ Principles so that their Christ Light shines brighter and brighter.
